Bojko Bučar is Vice-Dean at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, Slovenia. A long-time Head of the Chair of International Relations at the University, he was one of key personalities to develop the discipline of international relations in Slovenia. Having been responsible for post-graduate international and european studies, he continues this tradition. His research is focused on issues of International Relations in general and on questions of International Law. Expert on international and sub-national international regionalism. Also interested in Foreign Policy and the Balkans as an area study. At his initiative CEEISA was founded and the Journal of International Relations and Development – JIRD he had started before, became its official journal.
