The four-star Grand Hotel Union boasts a premier location in the very heart of Ljubljana, only a stone's throw from the Old Town.
This fine Art Nouveau building, constructed in 1905, has long been one of the most beautiful and elegant hotels in the region. Refurbishment in 1998 was directed by the Slovene architect Dobrin, who followed the original plans and restored its Art Nouveau charm with decorative stuccoes and copies of etched glass window panes made by the world famous glazier Rehvald from Plzen. An array of shops and other entertainment options, in the historical city centre, are all within a walking distance.
